Cheval Mirror Stunning Finest Regency Mahogany C1825

Here we have the finest of all Cheval mirrors we have had through our showrooms. This high Regency Mahogany cheval mirror dates to c1825. As you can see the mirror has beatiful colour and patina. The plate is clean and has a cross banded surround with inlaid square cartouches to the corners. The inlaid cartouches are a feature of the frame and are probably in Walnut. Each cartouche has an Ebony inlaid string. There are wonderful Bronze lacquered finials to the top and tapered reeded columns to the stretcher. The reeded columns also feature on the side supports and bottom stretcher. The legs are beautifully shaped and end in finely cast hairy paw feet. A truly exceptional example in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 152 cm high 60 cm wide 58 cm deep.
