Description

A stunning pair of antique Swedish satin birch bergere armchairs. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from around the 1900-1910 period.

They are of incredibly fine quality, with beautifully crisp carving throughout. The sides panels are double caned, the seats and backs are sprung with fitted upholstery. They are a great size, generous but not too imposing, and they are extremely comfortable.

We have had the frames re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb throughout.
