Rare 19th Century Charles Robert Ashbee Antique Armchair

A rare English antique armchair made by Charles Robert Ashbee, a designer and architect and the prime mover of the Arts & crafts Movement. Beautifully made in solid ash woods and a superb original coluor.An ample and comfortable model, having raked ladder back rest with lovely roll over arms and a traditionally rush seat. In excellent condition, all totally original and strong. Dates to around 1870. Perfect height for dining or desk work.
