The two round, fluted front legs and straight back legs are below a looped apron. It is very similar in design to one made by Heywood Brothers in the 1890’s and would add charm to any room décor.

Heywood Brothers was established in 1826 and produced wicker and rattan furniture which became increasingly popular towards the end of the century. The wicker styles drew on the Aesthetic Movement and Japanese influences until the simpler designs of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
