A stunning and unusual pair of Arabic throne chairs. The hardwood frames inlaid throughout with Arabesque inlays of ebonised wood, mother-of-pearl, bone, and abalone shell. The highly ornate and pierced backs joining the open arms above the sprung upholstered seats with similarly decorated seat rails and raised on inlaid cabriole legs. Condition- Good and ready for use, the chairs would benefit from a new upholstered top coat and there are one or two very small pieces of inlay missing all associated with age and use.
