A Late Georgian Hall Chair

Description

A late Georgian mahogany hall chair having the desireable 'melon top' design to the back. Structurally solid and made from well chosen timber of good colour and grain. Not a collectors piece due to its minor imperfections (see photos of the seat and rhs rear leg showing unnecessary repairs...there have been no breaks). No makers name but of fine quality. Extremely decorative and useable.

Width of the seat at the front 42 cm. Height of the seat from the floor 43 cm.

Depth of the seat 32.5 cm. Height of the back from the ground 82 cm.
