Small Oak Chiming Longcase Clock

1920 - 1940
Description

A small 18th Century style oak longcase clock made in the early 20th century. It has an oak case of simple form, with canted corners and a fielded panel base and a glazed door. The 12 inch brass dial has brass mandrels, a silvered chapter ring and a matted centre. It has an 8 day weight driven Westminster chime (Big Ben) movement that sounds the hours and quarters on 8 chime bars. it is wound by pulling the brass weights up on their chains.

The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. The brass weights and pendulum have been lacquered so they will not tarnish. If you would like a video clip of the clock chiming please email us.
