Description

A fabulous Victorian country house carpet chair in its original velvet and saddle bags. Raised on turned walnut legs with splayed legs to the rear and all on the original casters. One front leg retaining remnants of its original paper label. Both the seat and back carpet are in almost new condition and bar the odd small nick here and there so is the velvet.

This is a large armchair with a sprung seat, back and arms which seem to have very little wear which suggests its as comfy now as the day it left the factory in c1880.

All in all this is very good chair in excellent used country house condition.
