Georgian Oak Country Open Armchair / Carver

A mid George the III period, oak country armchair or carver, Circa 1800. This solid oak armchair with panel top rail, bow shaped splat, scrolled arms with ring turned supports extending from the from legs. Solid panelled quarter sawn seat. Splayed rear legs and all supported by H-stretcher.

A handsome and quality country armchair, in good, well presented condition. Cleaned, waxed and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This chair measures approximately 85.5 cm (33.75") tall, 54 cm (21.25") wide, and 49 cm (19.25") deep. The seat height is approximately 43 cm (17").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a good condition commensurate with its age. Some marks and blemishes. A few minor, quality, sympathetic repairs. Good colour, polish and patina. No loose joints. Very serviceable and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
