Description

A substantial Arts & Crafts period Gothic Revival oak and iron church collection box of good proportions.

The collection box is wall mounted (via a central brass loop verso which simply hangs over a screw/picture hook). The top is carved in the form of cross, the arms of which rest upon two turned columns. The body of the box has scrolling ironwork with a slot to the top for coins. There is a small loop to the front for a padlock to be secured.

The box remains in an excellent condition throughout and displays extremely well being of good proportions and colour. Great fun for storing loose change, or for use as a functioning collection box once again.
