A stunning original antique Regency period gilt wood mirror. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1800-1820’s.

It is of amazing quality, with a gorgeous design. Designed to be placed over a mantle place, it would work well in a variety of settings. The gilt finish has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, there are also ebonised carved wood mouldings with a lions head motif in the centre.

The condition is very good for its age, with just the right amount of wear. The mirror has aged beautifully, with plenty of charm and some wear to the silvered backing.
