A very attractive mahogany child’s rocking chair that dates to around 1810
In flame mahogany with boxwood stringing and a cane seat.
It has unusual curved spindles for the backrest and bobble twist columns for the main frame
In outstanding original condition with a rich patina and nice proportions
Measure 29 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 28 inches high
A really elegant chair that would grace a child’s bedroom in a period home
