A matched set of 8 Lancashire ash rush seat ladder back dining chairs comprising 6 single and 2 armchairs. Good colour and patina, 3 of the single chairs have been raised in height an inch ( see photo) at some time probably for children or smaller people.. There are 7 red squab seats ,very comfortable if needed , the one armchair having been purchased after they were made, This model of chair was made in Billinge, Lancashire. English Circa 1830.

The measurements given are for the single chairs , the arms are 109 tall 58 wide and 48 deep.
