Pair of George III Giltwood Girandole Mirrors

Description

Circa 1810. Pair of George III giltwood girandole mirrors. The oval original mirror plates with extensive foxing surrounded by a moulded frame with roundel and carved decorations surrounded by an outer frame with beaded decorations. The mirrors topped with rococo C scrolls and the bases with further open C scrolls and paired candelabra. Mirrors could be replaced with original 19th century mirror plates.
