English 19thc Yew Windsor Arm Chair

Description

A lovely 19th century Nottingham yew wood, broad arm windsor arm chair. The chair with a Christmas tree splat to the back, a nicely shaped seat in alder wood with yew and elm turned legs. The chair is likely to be made by I Allsop & Son from Worksop in Nottinghamshire and made around 1870.

In excellent strong condition, well chosen yew timbers with a good colour, the chair is a comfortable seat. Seating height 43.5cm Dated around 1870.
