Description

This beautiful mid 19th century mirror retains its original water and oil gilding. The main hand bevelled plate along with the smaller angled side plate are again all original as is the back board. The gilding has a fine country house mellowness and all the carving and plasterwork are in very good condition. There is no overpainting to the gilding. C1860
