Gorgeous early 19th century French gilt Empire mirror in very good condition.
It dates from around 1840.
It has its original real gilt (gold leaf) France with lovely floral gesso detail.
It has its stunning mercury glass with no scratches and lovely light foxing that does not impair the reflection. Mercury glass is difficult to find and has a magnificent sparkle like no other.
