Description

A nice example of a large Victorian armchair dating from the late 19th Century. It has a nice shape with an exposed frame, scrolling arms and buttoned detailing. The chair has been upholstered relatively recently in a good quality grey and white striped fabric with contrasting leaf pattern fabric on the back and sides.

The chair is in good overall condition and is strong and sturdy. There are a few very minor marks on the upholstery but nothing detrimental. There are some general signs of age and use around the frame and legs and a few minor shrinkage splits but nothing to concern us.
