Description

Large and very decorative pair of French 19th century oval gilt mirrors, circa 1880.

This large pair would be ideal for two alcoves or over a pair of console tables, perhaps could also work as a pair of bathroom mirrors too.

The frames are of a generous proportion so they have a great depth to them and they retain much of their original gold leaf.

Both frames have aged well and are in good condition with just the light evidence to the tops of the frames where they have both had a little joint separation which looks to have been restored decades ago. Looks worse in the photos, so please don’t let that put you off!
