Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

A George III bracket clock is a portable mechanical timekeeper produced during the reign of King George III, typically featuring a wooden case designed to sit on a bracket, shelf, or table.

These clocks typically feature solid mahogany or ebonised wood cases with brass mounts, cast gilt spandrels, and intricate fusee clockwork movements driven by spring tension.

Authentication involves examining the hand-engraved backplate, the quality of the brass movement, the presence of a fusee cone for even power distribution, and the age-related patina on the timber and dial.

Place the clock on a prominent surface such as a mantelpiece, sideboard, or study desk where its classical proportions and ticking mechanism can serve as a sophisticated focal point.

Keep the clock away from direct sunlight and draughts, wind it gently using the correct key, and have the movement professionally serviced every few years to ensure longevity.
