A Regency Egyptian revival bracket / table clock of eight day duration by Leplastrier, Mark Lane, London, Circa 1815.
This fine quality clock is in excellent original condition with a beautiful colour and patination to the mahogany case.
The well proportioned flame mahogany drumhead case surmounted by a pineapple cast brass finial and flanked by acroteria finials, beneath carved acanthus leaf and reeded decoration with raised mouldings and finely cut brass inlays, mounted on the original four brass bun feet.
The figured mahogany case rear with hinged opening doors, with the original locks and key.
The beautifully decorated opening cast brass bezel with the original convex glass.
The original high quality fire enamelled circular white dial with Roman numerals and signed to the dial centre for Leplastrier, Mark Lane, London.
