French Napoleon III Sewing Box 1850

Description

A French Napoleon III art nouveau sewing box dating to c.1850. It’s an attractive piece with brass boulle marquetry work through out with a combination of white and blue enamel inlay and tortoise shell.

It’s completely original showing an engraving of MINNA to the centre. It comes with its original key with working lock. The interior comprises of four ebonised wood sewing reels. A lovely collectors example.
