Description

A superb mahogany box that dates to around 1810

In great original condition with a deep rich flame mahogany finish which has been sympathetically waxed to keep its’ original finish and patina

It has an lift out shelf which separates the interior of the box

Has a boxwood escutcheon and a working lock and key

An quality period box that would grace a period or contemporary home to store trinkets, keepsakes or documents and would make an attractive gift for a loved one

Measures 12 inches wide, 8 inches deep and 5 inches high
