In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The doors open out to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters.
Below this is a large drawer, held in place with a brass rod.
It is in good condition and comes with a working key. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside, some general signs of age and use and a few small repairs but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
