Victorian Brass Bound Writing Slope 1865

Description

A truly super example of a large sized writing slope. It’s made from burr walnut with heavy duty brass bounding through out. It’s dated and named on the brass plaque “Emily Dyer” 1865. The originality continues to the interior with two glass ink wells and the black sloping leather for writing. It comprises of secret compartment drawers which are activated by lifting one the dividers. A truly spectacular example and a must for any collector. Comes with fully functioning lock and key.
