Description

This beautifully made ANTIQUE TREEN MONEY BOX dates from circa 1870.

It is coopered, like a barrel, with alternate bands of MAHOGANY and SYCAMORE held together by brass banding.

It has been well looked after. The wood has developed a wonderful patination and the brass a smooth finish. The Box is strong and sturdy.

Height: 4.75 inches (12 cm)
