Rare Miniature Bombe Bureau Decanter Box

Description

Rare early 19th century Dutch mahogany and inlaid decanter box in the shape of a miniature bombe shaped bureau. Beautiful shape box with shaped feet, shaped front and original brassware and lock. The fall section of the box is nicely inlaid with a central oval marquetry inlay surrounded by a wide line inlay. The decanter box has its original lock with working key. The box is complete with all 6 original square decanters with gilded decoration, all in good condition complete with their stoppers. The box also comes with a set of 4 contempory but probably not original square base glasses. A really nice item.
