A wonderfully carved hardwood diplay cabinet, dating from the late Meiji period c1900.

The profusely carved pediment above a central glazed door enclosing shaped shelves , above two drawers , supported on carved cabriole legs. A fine example of Japanese export furniture dating from the last decade of the 19th century.
