A large mahogany deed/keepsake box that dates to around 1860
It is in great condition in a nice deep rich colour with pewter stringing on the top and sides and a brass escutcheon and cartouche. Has unusual bevelled edges which adds a real air of quality to this delightful item
It has been lined with a grey and silver lined paper and has a working lock and key
