Victorian Mahogany Keepsake Box

Description

A large mahogany deed/keepsake box that dates to around 1860

It is in great condition in a nice deep rich colour with pewter stringing on the top and sides and a brass escutcheon and cartouche. Has unusual bevelled edges which adds a real air of quality to this delightful item

It has been lined with a grey and silver lined paper and has a working lock and key

A nice quality box that would make a great present for a loved one…..or go on, treat yourself !

Measures 16 inches wide, 10 1/2 inches deep and 6 inches high
