Description

A very good early 1800s Tunbridge Ware whitewood sewing pannier basket with a print of Chain Pier on the lid and two further scenes of Brighton in circular pannels on the side. It has its original painted swing handle.

The interior is divided into sections and has some reels and a Tunbridge Ware tape measure case, ribbon for the measure, it still retains its original blue paper lining.

It measures 12.5cm w x 10cm d x 5.5cm h excluding the handle.

Declaration
