Coromandel Ladies Lap Desk 1850

Description

A ladies lap desk made from a charming coromandel wood in super condition through out. The top laid contains a mother of pearl inlay. It opens out to reveal a writing slope area with a black leather. It comprises of small compartments for pens and writing materials. Beneath the leather slope section is two storage compartments. A lovely example dating to early Victorian c.1850 and comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
