George III Original Mahogany Knife Box

Description

Good large size late 18th century George III original condition mahogany and inlaid knife box. Nice shape box with mahogany flame veneers and a boxwood and ebony chequered line inlay. The interior is all original as it should be and is nicely inlaid with boxwood and ebony. There is an inlaid boxwood and ebony star inside the lid. The knife box is basically in very good condition, a couple of very minor hairlines at the sides. Nice colour with original French polish and waxed finish.
