This lovely casket with very finely detailed ormolu mounts is centered upon a circular miniature (8cms diameter) , beneath glass, of a couple seated on a bench in 18th century dress engaged in conversation. The lid is hinged and fitted to the underside with a beveled edged mirror. Condition: in very good condition with some rubbing to the original gilding consistent with its age. There is also some wear to the glaze to the underside of the base and some loss to the silvering to the edge of the mirror.We currently only trade on-line and are very pleased to receive enquiries by email, whatsapp or phone.
