Description

Here we have the most beautiful Georgian burr yew wood combined writing and sewing box of rectangular form, the front is fitted with a drawer complete with ink well and pounce pot and the lid has an oval print of figures in a garden, the top and sides within multiple line borders, brass carrying side handles, the interior with a ruched velvet lid panel over a blue paper lined compartmentalised cedar tray, the key opens the bottom tray only.
