Burr Walnut Fitted Sewing Box 1870

Description

A fully fitted sewing box made from burr walnut with fine brass inlay and cross banded in kingwood and a mixture of assorted wood for the bounding. In complete original condition throughout. It dates to the Victorina period of 1870 and comes with a fully functional lock and key. The interior consists of its sewing tray with various sections and compartments. Comes with several actual sewing reels. Underneath is more storage.
