Description

A stunning example of an English brass bound military style box made from solid Mahogany with top quality brass fittings with top-notch screwed construction. The top is inlaid a folding flush handle cast from brass.

The lid once opened reveals a beautifully re-lined interior in hand-marbled paper creating a nice fresh finish, ready for use.

The box dates to around 1820, nearly 200 years old and remains in excellent condition with working key. 11" x 6" x 4 1/2".
