Hotel Letter Box Golden Oak C.1890

Description

A golden oak letter box in super original condition. It would have sat front of house collecting all manner of letters and papers for the day. It’s an example with additional side holders for more storage. It comprises of bevelled glass to the lid and the front. Brass fittings throughout including the large letter plaque. It also has a “Telegrams” drawer towards the bottom. It comes with a key (the key turning does need a tender touch when pressing on the lid for full closure). Dates to Victorian 1890
