A beautiful English solid sterling silver and enamel cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1955 with the makers marks being HCD for Henry Clifford Davis. It has been beautifully made being decorated with a hand painted enamel wildflower design to its front, possibly forget-me-nots and roses. The inside has been gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the enamel is complete and free from chips, cracks, scratches, and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cms) by 3.25 inches (8.5cms) wide and weighs 172 grams. A beautifully designed stunning piece.
