Description

A beautiful English solid sterling silver and enamel cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1960 with the makers marks being HCD for Henry Clifford Davis. It has been beautifully made being decorated with a hand painted enamel flower design to its front, possibly freesias, and engine turning to its back. The inside has been gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the enamel is complete and free from chips, cracks, scratches, and repairs, there is a slight surface scuff to the corner edge - see final photo. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.5cms) long by 3 inches (7.8cms) wide and weighs 124 grams. A beautifully designed stunning piece.
