Beautifil Victorian English Solid Sterling Silver Box 1892 Antique

Description

A beautiful solid sterling silver pill or snuff box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1892 with the makers marks being that of Stokes & Ireland Ltd. It has been beautifully made being embossed and the cartouche has been engraved with initials. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge works perfectly, the inside is clean and the lid closes tight and flush. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (6cms) long by 2 inches (5cms) wide by almost 1 inch (2.1cms) tall and weighs 36 grams. A beautifully made piece.
