Description

A fine quality parquetry domed top walnut writing slope that dates to around 1860

It is in very nice original condition with a rich brown waxed finish with a box wood, ebony and mahogany cross banded design to the top and front

Has a replaced gold tooled black leather insert and a pair of secret drawers that are exposed by raising a panel to the left of the nib slope which releases a panel

It comes with a working lock and key and a pair of brass screw topped inkwells

It measures 16 inches wide by 7 inches high by 10 inches deep
