Description

A very decorative 19th century tortoiseshell tea caddy inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The bowed front and cover inlaid with flowers and birds. The lid opens to reveal two lidded compartments for tea. The caddy sits on round feet. There is some age related wear to the caddy most corners have chips to the tortoiseshell and the metal stringing on the front right hand side is loose. However, in general it is in good condition.
