An Antique Treen Burr Wood Storage Container

Description

A lovely 18th century burr  wood walnut storage container.

It is well turned, the top section pulls off from the middle. This lovely piece of treen has developed a good surface colour, there is a small section which has had a repair/filled where there was a very old attack of wood worm in the past.

An impressive piece of treen dating from the mid to late 1700s.

It measures approx 24cm h x 9.5cm w
