Description

A Victorian writing slope made of red mahogany which dates to around 1860

it has been lovingly restored and finished with a natural waxed finish with the brass work lightly polished

It has brass bound corners with a brass cartouche and escutcheon, a replacement red gold tooled leather insert, a working lock and key and a pair of matching brass topped inkwells

With a set of secret drawers which are revealed by lifting the divider to the left of the nib slope releasing a panel

It measures 16 inches wide by 9 inches deep by 6 inches high
