Description

A large sized document box made from Moroccan black leather in a decent original condition. The box comprises of a lift out tray and accessory tools on the inside lid. Behind this is a large paper writing pad which fits neatly inside the lid. It has two original ink wells one for ink and the other for light. The tray shifts sideways left or right to reveal more storage underneath. It has a royal stamp located on the inside lid stating “Royal loggers” and also a makes label down by the lock stating “Jenner & Knewstub” to the Queen - 38 St James street & 68 Jermyn Street. A super part of parliamentary history dating to late Victorian 1890. It comes with the original lock and key.
