An unusual automaton clock of a pheasant shooter, by William Gammon.
 
A long case clock in decorative flame mahogany veneers, the arched hood with three finial mounted blocks, and shaped cresting.
 
The break arch dial, with subsidiary seconds and calendar aperture, having the figure of a hunter in the arch, with a pheasant in the top right of the dial. Both the hunter''s arm, and the pheasant move in unison. A Whatsapp video is available, to see the moving parts.
 
The movement is of eight day duration.
