Spectacular Golden Burr Walnut Antique Tea Caddy
This Spectacular 19th Century Golden Burr Walnut Antique Tea Caddy, dates from ca. 1860 and has a domed hinged lid with the most spectacular brass embossed decoration. The interior has two tea compartments with lids, having small turned handles. There is a decorative key along with beautiful brass banding. The key does work but is a little temperamental. This stunning antique box has aged to a rich golden Walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
