Tonbridge Inlaid and Ebonised Jewellery Box

Description

Super decorative 19th century Tonbridge marquetry inlaid and ebonised jewellery box, circa 1880.

Striking style with the marquetry contrasting with the ebonising very well, so for a small box, it certainly stands out. Ideal for jewellery or just a bits’n pieces box.

Nice condition and internally lined with a vintage blue velvet.

I will try and find a suitable key for it…also, please note this price includes free mainland UK postage.

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
