Description

A magnificent fully restored mahogany tea caddy in a basically perfect condition. It has various inlay through out including rope twist banding made from boxwood and ebony and banded in satinwood parallel. It has a iconic Georgian shell to the centre lid made from boxwood and sycamore wood. The interior consists of a mahogany tray banded in boxwood. The inner lid is lined. Comes with a fully functional lock and key and dates to c.1800. A beauty!
