An absolutely beautiful domed topped coromandel jewellery box. It’s fully restored and in a completely pristine condition through out with no defects. Stunning light grain to the wood with brass and pewter inlay through out. It has a brass plaque to the centre lid dating to 1877 which would have been a slightly later addition to the date of the box which is early Victorian c.1850. The bottom drawer consists of the original sewing section which can be used for to store jewellery with multiple divisions. The main section of the box has had a handcrafted and made lift out tray capable of storing all manner of jewellery with two ring rolls to the sides. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
